ILLUMINARY PICTURES is set to co-produce two films, "Of Silence" and "Signed in Blood"
Jeremiah Sayys wrote, directed, co-produced, and starred in “Of Silence,” which centers on a scuba-diving instructor whose life is falling apart. An inner ear condition prevents him from teaching, so his business dries up, leading to mounting bills and debts, all while he’s trying to cope with the suicide of his ex-wife. The building pressure causes him to isolate himself, and he soon experiences strange events which may be linked to a world beyond our own.
Masiela Lusha, founder of ILLUMINARY PICTURES, plays Sayys’s wife, and is joined by Muse Watson as Sayys’s father, and Paul Cuneo, who plays a debt collector. Production recently wrapped, and a 2010 release date is expected.
“Signed in Blood” will be a full 3-D CGI crime drama with a budget of $10 million. Just imagine: Futuristic vehicles whizzing around in 3-D; gigantic construction cranes and monorail transports coming right at you, threatening to crush you; bullets zipping past your head; punches and kicks that are so real, you can almost feel the pain; robots that can almost reach out and touch you!
Experience the sensation of sitting in the pilot’s seat of a flying car, hundreds of feet above a futuristic cityscape, in a white-knuckle chase that surpasses all others and takes your breath away in a hail of bullets, explosions, and massive property destruction!
All this, combined with a story that grabs you from the very beginning and never lets go until the very end, will make for a thrilling movie-going experience that will garner world-wide attention.
While the film will be an ensemble piece, the main characters are Morty (Michael Madsen) and George, professional assassins who are both struggling to save the women they love, Hana (Alexandra Bokyun Chun) and Nadia (Masiela Lusha), respectively. The antagonist, X, will be played by Jürgen Prochnow.
Unbeknownst to George, his girlfriend Nadia is living a double life herself. To George, she is his beautiful but sickly girlfriend, but she’s also a drop-dead gorgeous double-agent, assigned to get close to George and kill him when ordered to by her employer, the mysterious X.
